How soon should I schedule my session?

Can my husband and children participate in the session?
Absolutely! Husbands and children are encouraged to join, making your session a shared family experience and capturing this special time for everyone involved.

What about stretch marks and any other changes in my body?
Our professional retouching services ensure your images highlight the beauty of this time. Stretch marks, blemishes, and certain body contours are carefully and naturally edited to create stunning, polished images.

Will you guide me on poses during the session?

Will the session be tiring, and how long will it take?
Each maternity session runs for 2 hours, typically with one hour indoors at SparQ Spaces and an optional hour outdoors. We prioritize your comfort and will take breaks if needed to keep you relaxed and comfortable.

How long do I wait to view and receive my digital images and products?
Your online gallery will be ready within 10 days of your session. Edited digital files take around two weeks, while prints, albums, and wall art are ready within a week from the order date.

When should I book my baby shower session?

What can I expect from my session?

We’ll start with a mini portrait session, then let the cake-smashing madness begin, and finally, it’s a bubbly splash in the tub to clean up! Absolutely! We’ll work together to coordinate colors and themes before the session. MINIATURES provides all the props, decorations, banners, and a cake made just for smashing – so all you need to do is show up and enjoy the fun!

Can I invite family members to the session?
Keeping it cozy works best! We recommend sticking with immediate family only – too many people can distract your little one from the action.

Any tips on how to prepare my child for their cake smash?
Try a mini trial at home! Give your little one a cupcake with frosting a few days before to get them used to the fun of frosting. Some kids don’t love getting messy at first, so a preview can make the real session a lot easier and more enjoyable.

What should my baby wear?

Do you provide the cake for smashing?
Of course! We provide a custom-made, low-sugar cake just for smashing, with options for eggless, vegan, or gluten-free cakes, so every little one can dig in!

Our cake smash sessions are a fun-filled hour:

Portrait Session: 10-15 minutes
Cake Smash: 25-35 minutes
Clean-up: 15 minutes

How long do I have to wait to view and receive my digital images, prints, and products?

Can I buy a session as a gift?

Can my family be a part of the cake smash session?

We’ll use your due date as a placeholder to ensure you’re on our calendar for that month. When your baby is born and you’re ready to set the date, just send us a quick email or WhatsApp message, and we’ll confirm a session within the first 5-10 days. After booking, we’ll provide a detailed PDF with all the information you need for your session.

Where does the newborn session take place, and what are the options?
We offer two options for newborn sessions:

In-home sessions – Conducted in the comfort of your home, this option allows for a relaxed, natural feel. All props, lighting, and backdrops will be brought to you, making it easy for you and your baby to settle in.
